The Arkalochori Axe is a Minoan bronze double axe dating to 1700–1600 BC, discovered in 1934 by the archaeologist Spyridon Marinatos in the Arkalochori Cave on Crete. It features 15 signs that resemble Minoan Hieroglyphics and Linear A, while also bearing clear similarities to the signs on the famous Phaistos Disc. In this study, an attempt is made to transcribe the signs on the axe and match the resulting words with corresponding ones in Linear A.
