Industries face significant challenges in achieving operational sustainability and integrating processes with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) amidst global climate change and regulatory pressure. This study addresses theoretical and methodological gaps by proposing and conducting a prospective (ex‐ante) evaluation of an eight‐step BPM framework to align industrial processes with SDG targets. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA protocol informed the framework's development across five thematic axes. Validation occurred in two phases: interviews with 10 industrial managers and a focus group with six process and sustainability experts, analyzed qualitatively using NVivo 15. Results confirm the framework's conceptual coherence and practical feasibility, highlighting its potential to drive sustainable transformation, encompassing environmental stewardship, social equity, and economic resilience. This research provides a structured, actionable roadmap, positioning BPM as a strategic enabler for translating sustainability aspirations into measurable operational impacts aligned with the global sustainability agenda.
