Prototyping of Learning Materials for Building Construction Methods Using 3d Modeling

Understanding building construction methods requires grasping the three-dimensional relationships among building parts. As 3D modeling has become a common technology, learning materials that allow learners to actively create and edit 3D models are expected to improve learning outcomes compared with traditional lectures using drawings. However, modeling with 3D-CAD and BIM can be difficult for beginners, and complex operations may distract from the learning purpose. This study prototypes learning materials for building construction methods that are easy for beginners to use and evaluates their effectiveness through a questionnaire survey.
