This study examines agricultural activity spaces established within elderly care facilities, intended to serve as community-open care settings. The objective is to clarify the process from planning to establishment of these agricultural spaces, their actual post-establishment operation, and their characteristics, thereby verifying their features and challenges. The primary research methods employed were observational surveys, literature reviews, and interviews. Findings suggest the importance of increasing the number of collaborators within the organization actively managing the agricultural space and fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration. Furthermore, multiple spatial characteristics beneficial for community access were identified within the target facility.
