During the loading test on high friction elastic sliding bearings that do not generate tensile forces, it was confirmed that most of the tensile force in the connecting bolts was introduced during the tightening operation. However, the increase due to loading was small, so the resulting tensile force in the connecting bolts remained within the range of the existing calculation formula. Flange stresses were low, confirming the validity of the tensile force determination formula. Since elastic sliding bearings exhibit less rubber shear deformation than laminated rubber, evaluating flange based on bending stress is considered an overestimation.
