Teachers should have digital competence, but there is still a gap in digital transformation in Science learning. This study investigated teachers' experiences in AI training (variable X), teachers' difficulties in using AI (Variable Y1) and teachers' readiness to use AI in learning (variable Y2), as well as teachers' need for digital media based on Nearpod Micro Hydro Power Center (MHPC) to teach energy transformation in elementary schools. Amixed method approach in the form of an explanatory sequential design, involving 60 teachers from Banyumas, Cilacap, and Banjarnegara Regencies, Central Java Province. Analysis of survey data using descriptive statistics obtained an average (4.05) and Standard Deviation (0.92). The correlation of Pearson X and Y1 obtained a score of 0.678 with a Sig. (2-tail) value of 0.000. The correlation of Pearson X and Y2 obtained a value of 0.629, a significance value (Sig. 2-tail) of 0.000. The results of interviews and observations were obtained that 100% of teachers had never used MHPC media, but teachers were motivated and expressed a strong need related to MHPC media to teach the change from hydropower to electric energy.
