This study aims to design and develop a web-based Ordering and Sales Information System for Teras Kartini Restaurant to address the ordering, transaction, payment, and reporting processes that were previously conducted manually. The research was conducted at Teras Kartini Restaurant in Balai-Balai, West Padang Panjang District, Padang Panjang City, West Sumatra, Indonesia. The research methodology involved problem identification, data collection through observation, interviews, and literature review, requirements analysis, system design using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Unified Modeling Language (UML), implementation using PHP and MySQL, and testing using Black Box Testing. The resulting web application provides modules for customers, cashiers, and administrators. Customers can register, log in, browse the menu, choose between dine-in and takeaway options, manage their shopping carts, complete checkout, and view their order statuses and histories. Cashiers and administrators can manage orders and payments through cash, QRIS, or bank transfers, including calculating change for cash payments, printing receipts, managing menus and tables, and generating sales reports by period and payment method. The system also provides features for managing restaurant identity and payment information. The implementation results in a more structured and integrated data management process, thereby supporting service delivery and transaction recording at Teras Kartini Restaurant.
