This study aims to analyze the management of principal supervision in improving the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers at SMKN 2 Pasuruan. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal and IRE teachers as the main sources of information. Data analysis consisted of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the management of principal supervision was implemented through four stages: planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. Planning involved determining the supervision objectives and identifying aspects of learning to be observed. Supervision implementation was conducted by observing teachers’ preparation and classroom learning practices. The results of the observation were subsequently used as a basis for evaluation and feedback. Follow-up activities were carried out through guidance and professional support to improve aspects of teaching that required further development. The supervision process contributed to strengthening IRE teachers’ professionalism, particularly in learning preparation, classroom management, teaching methods, and learning assessment. These findings indicate that principal supervision needs to be implemented systematically, communicatively, and continuously so that it functions not merely as an evaluation mechanism but also as a professional development process for IRE teachers.
