This study proposes a heuristic method to approximate 3D isovists using visual rays and to evaluate building visibility and inter-building occlusion in urban space. Entropy, the number of visual rays, and the number of visible buildings are used as indicators to clarify visibility patterns. Occlusion relationships are defined by the number of visual rays through which one building blocks another. A directed graph is constructed and analyzed using eigenvector centrality to reveal structural roles within the occlusion network. Comparative analysis demonstrates that building configuration influences visibility distribution and network structure, and a campus case reveals visual fragmentation and spatial closure.
