The article substantiates a business model for the commercialization of adaptive spatial lighting technology based on the transformation of its functional and technological characteristics into consumer and market value. The study identifies the key technological features that determine the commercialization potential of the proposed solution, including a three-dimensional LED structure, the integration of information-visual and lighting-spectral channels, adaptive control, sensor-based interaction, and compatibility with the user’s digital environment. Functional, adaptive-personalized, and integrative components of the value proposition are distinguished. It is shown that the commercialization potential of the technology is formed not by individual technical parameters but by their interconnected combination, which expands product functionality and creates opportunities for market differentiation. The main components of the business model are defined as the technological core, value proposition, target market, configuration of value creation and delivery, and the economic result of commercialization. The proposed model reflects the sequence of transformation of technological capabilities into market-relevant value and considers the interdependence between product functionality, customer needs, target-market parameters, resources, participants in value creation, and methods of delivering value to the market. The model also incorporates the influence of market, technological, competitive, institutional and regulatory factors, as well as intellectual property protection. Feedback links between commercialization outcomes, the target market, the value proposition, and the technological core are included, which reflects the adaptive nature of the proposed business model. The practical significance of the results lies in using the model to structure managerial decisions for introducing adaptive spatial lighting technology to the market and aligning product characteristics with the expected value for potential consumers.
