The present study investigates the taxonomy of the genera Belippa Walker, 1865, and Mummu Solovyev & Witt, 2009, from India. Diagnostic descriptions, distributional data, and illustrations of adults and genitalia are provided for all Indian species of both genera. In addition, images of all known species are included to facilitate accurate identification. Belippa aeolus Solovyev & Witt, 2009, and Mummu aerata Solovyev & Witt, 2009, are recorded from India for the first time, significantly extending their known geographical distribution. The present study provides an updated taxonomic account of these genera in India and contributes to a better understanding of the diversity and distribution of Indian Limacodidae, forming a valuable reference for future taxonomic, faunistic, and biodiversity studies.
