Two new species of Tortricidae (Lepidoptera) are described and illustrated from India: Gypsonoma ovata sp. nov. Shashank & Santhosh and Trophocosta apilobata sp. nov. Shashank & Santhosh. Diagnostic characters are provided to facilitate accurate species identification. Photographic illustrations of the adults, wing venation, male and female genitalia are presented to support species delineation and comparison with congeners. The discovery of these species contributes to the understanding of tortricid diversity in India and highlights the need for further taxonomic exploration of micromoths in the region.
