Development of Regional Sustainability through the Prism of the Investment Attractiveness of the Region (Using the Example of the Moscow Region)

The article examines the relationship between regional investment attractiveness and sustainable develop-ment. The study focuses on factors influencing the investment attractiveness of the Moscow region and their role in fostering sustainable regional development. Through a survey conducted as part of the research, the authors identified the importance of comprehensive regional development in enhancing investment attractive-ness. Despite the Moscow region’s commendable level of investment attractiveness, the article emphasizes the need for actively identifying sectors with relative weaknesses and creating favorable conditions for investment in these areas. The research findings hold practical significance for professionals in economics, regional de-velopment, and investment activities. By elucidating the dynamics between investment attractiveness and sus-tainable development, the study contributes to understanding regional economic resilience and strategic plan-ning.
