Genome assembly reveals two haplotypes and chromosomal pseudomolecules in Fragaria vesca, suggesting genetic diversity.
<ns7:p>We present a genome assembly of <ns7:italic>Fragaria vesca</ns7:italic> (Woodland strawberry; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Rosales; Rosaceae). The assembly consists of two haplotypes with total lengths of 219.73 megabases and 219.17 megabases. Each haplotype has been scaffolded into 7 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial sequence has a length of 368.42 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 155.64 kilobases.</ns7:p>
