Descriptive analysis reveals a significant link between Arabic teachers' brainstorming skills and students' comprehensive thinking in Abu Dhabi schools.
The study aimed to identify the degree to which Arabic language teachers possess brainstorming skills and their relationship to comprehensive thinking among their students in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The study sample consisted of (172) teachers and (516) students who were selected randomly. The study followed the descriptive, correlational approach. Two questionnaires were prepared, one of which was prepared to measure brainstorming skills, and consisted of (21) items. The other is the comprehensive thinking skills scale, which consists of (23) items. The results showed that the degree to which teachers possessed brainstorming skills and that their students possessed comprehensive thinking was average. There is a statistically significant relationship at the level (α = 0.05) between the degree to which Arabic language teachers possess brainstorming skills and the degree of comprehensive thinking among their students. The study recommended the need to pay attention to teachers’ brainstorming skills and students’ comprehensive thinking.
