Quasi-experimental research validates a new education model in safety engineering, suggesting it enhances interdisciplinary skills.
The traditional safety engineering education model struggles to meet the demands of the intelligent era. There is an urgent need to develop an educational approach that emphasizes three-dimensional learning and promotes the integration of intelligent technologies. The widespread use of the Internet and the rapid development of artificial intelligence have facilitated the emergence of cloud-based teaching modes, representing a key direction for higher education reform. Based on the current state of safety engineering education, this paper analyzes the core advantages of constructing an ideological- and innovation-integrated education model empowered by intelligent technology and proposes an educational framework featuring “Three-Dimensional Integration”: intelligently driven pedagogy, dynamically empowered teaching methods, and openly shared platforms. A quasi-experimental research design verifies the model’s effectiveness, providing both theoretical and practical references for cultivating interdisciplinary professionals in safety engineering for the intelligent era.
