Analysis of annual training methods enhances performance in athletes, indicating a need for structured approaches.
Analyzing the statistics of athletes' performances in powerlifting and the effectiveness of their competitive activities, it is worth noting that the number of powerlifters who have successfully realized their own sports potential at international level competitions in classical powerlifting is not high. This makes it necessary to conduct additional research in the direction of rationalizing the construction of annual training for athletes in classical powerlifting. Analysis of existing scientific knowledge shows that sports practice requires finding ways to improve the construction of annual training for athletes in classical powerlifting. The aim of research is to scientifically substantiate the main ways to improve the structure of annual training of athletes in classical powerlifting. In order to solve the set goal, we used the following research methods: analogy, analysis, synthesis, abstraction, induction, extrapolation, generalization of practical experience, pedagogical methods (observation). As a result of the study, it was found that due to the rapid development of the classical division and the low performance of Ukrainian powerlifters in competitive activities, the problem of building annual training for athletes in classical powerlifting is one of the most important, which justifies the need to find new effective ways to improve its structure and content. This process becomes especially important at the stage of specialized basic training, which is characterized by the beginning of narrow specialization and individualization of the training process for athletes. One of the ways to solve this problem may be to identify the regularities of planning the load in the annual training of athletes at different stages of long-term improvement in classical powerlifting and to substantiate the structure and content of the annual training program for athletes at the stage of specialized basic training in classical powerlifting. Determining the degree of influence of the program on the preparedness of athletes in classical powerlifting at specialized basic training also remains relevant.
