Survey indicates improved learning in human anatomy for physical culture students using digital tools, suggesting benefits for educators.
The article presents the author’s vision of the possibilities of using 3D modeling and augmented and virtual reality technologies in teaching human anatomy to future specialists in physical culture and sports. The study is based on the analysis of national and international scientific sources, as well as the results of a survey conducted among higher education students majoring in A7 “Physical Culture and Sports” and their instructors. The purpose of the survey was to identify the need for anatomical material visualization and to evaluate the effectiveness of using digital technologies in the educational process. The aim of the article is to substantiate the feasibility of using digital technologies – particularly 3D modeling and augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) – in the process of teaching human anatomy to enhance the effectiveness of learning and to foster the professional competence of higher education students majoring in A7 “Physical Culture and Sports.” To achieve this goal, general scientific research methods were applied, including the analysis of scientific literature, synthesis of the obtained information to form a comprehensive understanding of the research subject, comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the relevant technologies, generalization of the identified findings, as well as a survey of students and instructors.
