This approach demonstrates improved accuracy in assessing transmission line status using meteorological information, highlighting its relevance.
Abstract: To address the issues of poor accuracy and lack of timeliness in existing transmission line operation status assessment methods, which often fail to adequately consider meteorological factors, this paper first examines the differences in the effects of various parameters on transmission lines under different meteorological conditions. It analyzes the correlation between different meteorological factors, determines their impact weights, and selects effective parameters for calculation. Then, a mathematical model for assessing transmission line status is constructed using principal component analysis, incorporating meteorological information as effective parameters. Finally, the proposed system is validated using actual data. The results show that the proposed evaluation index system for transmission line status is highly targeted and accurate, and the evaluation method is both effective and practical.
