The article discusses modern approaches to improving the HR records management system in the context of digitalization. The purpose of the study is to identify the main directions of electronic document management development that can improve the efficiency of personnel management and optimize the processes of personnel information processing. The authors rely on an analysis of the regulatory framework, studying the experience of implementing electronic document management systems and comparing the practices of various organizations. The paper substantiates the need for integrated integration of electronic HR technologies with other information systems of the enterprise, which increases the efficiency and reliability of data, reduces costs and minimizes risks associated with the human factor. It is noted that the spread of electronic personnel records management requires not only technological readiness, but also the adaptation of the organizational structure, improving the digital literacy of employees and ensuring information security. The peculiarity of the research is that it offers a systematic approach to the modernization of personnel processes, taking into account technological, organizational and legal aspects, making the results of work in demand in both the corporate and public sectors.
