This investigation reveals training needs and preferences in sports graduates, suggesting future improvements.
The purpose of this paper was to construct a questionnaire to investigate the training needs and preferences of Physical Education and Sports graduates. The present study involved 32 people, 20 men (62.5%) and 12 women (37.5%), aged M = 33.59 (24-57 years old) SD = ± 11.37, graduates of the Departments of Physical Education and Sports Science. A self-report questionnaire was constructed for the investigation and non-parametric statistical tests were applied. The results show that the Physical Education and Sports graduates of the present study who attended some training in the past are positively associated with participation in similar training in the future. In addition, the needs for training in individual sectors, such as Coaching and Performance, were recorded, especially in younger participants. Although these results refer to the present study, they could be taken into consideration by those responsible for planning and implementing training activities.
