Analysis reveals challenges with domestic software solutions in IT sector, highlighting state support for companies.
The article studies the main aspects of legal regulation of the import substitution policy in the field of IT technologies, and analyses the results of measures taken in this regard. The directions for sub-stitution of the foreign software by the national analogues have been evaluated, and problems of insufficient functionality, productivity, and user-friendliness of the domestic solutions have been revealed. Moreover, the article studies the key tools of state support: inclusion of IT companies in the Register of Accredited companies and the Register of Small Technology Companies, provision of tax allowances, grants, subsidies, and state procurement preferences. The relevance of this study is explained by the high rate of IT technologies implementation in all sectors of the economy.
