In the 21st century environmental concern and sustainability has emerged as a critical social expectation and legal pressures have compelled organizations to adopt sustainable management practices to balance profit and social responsibility. Green human resources management is an emerging strategic approach that induces HR innovative HR practices that foster a culture of environmental consciousness and integrate organizational goals with environmental economic and social goals.This concept fosters a profound understanding and cultivates a pragmatic outlook with social awareness,instilling a sense of environmental responsibility.The benefits of green HRM stem from a deep commitment to progress and the involvement of all management levels,offering adaptable and sustainable goals.Green HR practices utilize employee engagement to promote eco-friendly initiatives,thereby boosting productivity and efficiency.Globally, there is a growing demand for integrating business and environmental management strategies. The current study focuses on exploring the perception of employees regarding role of green HRM for organizational sustainability in the service sector.
