Qualitative analysis reveals AI's potential to improve threat prediction and maritime security resilience.
This study discusses the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a key strategy in strengthening Indonesia's maritime security resilience. By utilizing real-time data analysis from satellites, radar, AIS, and underwater sensors, AI is expected to improve early detection capabilities, threat prediction, and patrol optimization. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze global, regional, and national maritime security conditions, and identifies challenges to AI implementation in Indonesia. The analysis is conducted using Lukman Yudho Prakoso's policy implementation theory and Clausewitz's strategy theory to formulate an integrative, interactive, transparent, and accountable maritime security strategy. The results show that the systematic application of AI can improve the effectiveness of maritime surveillance, threat response, and cross-agency and regional cooperation.
