Analysis reveals spherical titanium powders are produced from OT4 alloy waste, highlighting energy efficiency.
The results of a study of the shape parameters of titanium powders obtained for additive machines by electroerosion dispersion of OT4 alloy metal waste in water are presented. It has been established that the electroerosive particles are mainly spherical in shape. The technological features of obtaining domestic spherical titanium powders for additive machines of the required fractional composition from domestic raw materials in small batches with minimal energy consumption and minimal damage to the environment have been studied.
