On the Digital Divide and Digital Inequalities

Against the background of relatively successful digitalization in Russia, it is necessary to take into account existing and continuing problems. In particular, the digital divide and digital inequalities contribute to social inequality - and vice versa. This actualizes the issue of equality and social justice. There are a number of different cyber threats. The problem of cyber threats is compounded by digital inequality. Appropriate adaptation, development of cyber security measures and improvement of cyber literacy of the population are also needed to solve this problem. The problem of ways and means of adaptation of the population to the conditions of digitalization of society, familiarization with digital culture, which acquires a wide variety of forms and qualities, is being actualized. The problem of people's adaptation to the conditions of digitalization of society implies not only the spontaneous adaptation of people themselves. The issues of education, as well as the socialization of the individual in the spirit of a harmonious combination of mental and physical labor, are becoming even more important and relevant. Management activities related to digitalization in various fields require more intensive restructuring, taking into account the social, not just economic and technological needs of society.
