This review highlights the impact of ultrasonic treatment on surface state and physical-mechanical properties.
A review of the current state of studies on the effect of ultrasonic treatment on the surface state has been carried out. Investigations are presented in which the relationship between the parameters of the ultrasonic treatment mode and the physical-mechanical properties of the surface is considered. Various types of ultrasonic liquid and solid-state treatment are discussed. The first part of the review is devoted to cavitation-erosion treatment.
