Abstract This study explores the perceptions of medical students at Sudanese universities regarding scientific research. This research aims to understand their views on the importance, impact, and challenges of conducting research during their medical education. Data were collected from 139 students through a structured questionnaire. The findings reveal significant insights into students' awareness, attitudes, and obstacles in research activities.
