The research aims to measure the effect of the Think Talk Write model on the ability to write narrative essays of elementary school students. The ability to write narrative essays is still at a low level, thus affecting the achievement of student learning outcomes. The cause is the lack of use of appropriate learning models in the process of learning activities. The quantitative method of Pre-Experimental Design type with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design was used on 26 students. Data collection techniques using Pretest and Posttest test sheets in the form of descriptions. Data analysis techniques include descriptive statistics, Shapiro Wilk normality test, and hypothesis testing through the Paired Sample t-test with a significance result of 0.000 <0.05. The results showed that the Think Talk Write learning model had an effect on the ability to write narrative essays of elementary school students.
