The Internet of Things (IoT) control technology and its applications are rapidly evolving, demanding educational institutions to adapt their curricula to prepare students effectively. This paper presents an innovative teaching reform aimed at enhancing the learning experience in the IoT Control Technology and Applications course. The proposed reforms focus on integrating real-world applications, leveraging big data visualization, and incorporating project-based learning to foster practical skills. We discuss the current challenges, the implemented changes, and the outcomes observed in student engagement and comprehension.
