The study presents the results of investigating the effects of ultrafine zinc particles (UZP) and a phytobiotic supplement based on essential oils (Probiocid-Phyto) on carp physiology. A growth-stimulating effect was observed when adding Probiocid-Phyto and UZP Zn to the fish diet. Analysis of the amino acid composition showed that the use of Probiocid-Phyto and UZP Zn stimulates protein metabolism and increases the levels of several amino acids in the liver and muscle tissue of carp. In the liver of fish in all experimental groups, the levels of arginine, lysine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, leucine+isoleucine, and valine were significantly higher than the control values. In the muscle tissue of fish, there was an increase in the levels of histidine, arginine, lysine, and leucine+isoleucine. Therefore, the increase in amino acid levels indicates the activation of metabolism, including lipid metabolism, digestion, and nutrient absorption in fish, leading to improved growth productivity.
