The goal of this study is to evaluate the serum levels of adenosine deaminase (ADA) in type 2 diabetes patients as well as in healthy individuals. lipids and glucose were also investigated. Fifty samples of patients with type 2 diabetes, ranging in age from 40-70 year and fifty samples of healthy individuals in the same age range were included in the study. The current study's results demonstrated a substantial increase in each of the previously specified parameters: adenosine deaminase (ADA), glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, low-weight lipoprotein, lipoprotein, density and cholesterol, at the level of probability P≤0.05. P≤0.05 for cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein levels. Diabetic patients show elevated ADA enzyme levels, higher HbA1C and glucose levels and higher lipid levels compared to healthy individuals, all within normal range.
