For several decades, the problem of increasing oil recovery from reservoirs has been one of the most significant in oil-producing countries of the world. Most oil fields, usually represented by heterogeneous reservoirs, are developed using a waterflooding system. Experience in the development of water-oil zones shows that oil extraction from deposits underlain by bottom water is characterized by a relatively low oil recovery factor. When monitoring the development of oil and gas fields, various research methods are used. One of the main research methods is hydrodynamic testing of wells (HDT). The article discusses the influence of the skin factor on well productivity.
