A comparative assessment of the eff ectiveness of the use of sorption technologies in the treatment of infl ammatory and destructive processes of diff erent localization was carried out in 56 patients, of which 34 used sorption technologies, and 22 patients made up the control group. The results of the studies show that it is possible to achieve an eff ective result in the treatment of patients with infl ammatory- destructive processes by a complex combination of local exposure to the area of infl ammation using sorption techniques, which not only create an opportunity to locally aff ect the focus of infl ammation, but also, by sorption of microorganisms and toxins, reduce their local damaging eff ect on tissues and prevent their absorption and generalization. Breaking the chain of endotoxemia at the initial stage of its occurrence can reduce the severity of the infl ammatory reaction, localize it, reduce the manifestations of local action of pathogenic factors, eliminate the danger of their translocation and generalization, prevent the implementation of autocatalytic mechanisms of toxemia, and accelerate the recovery of patients. The use of vulneosorption contributes to the rapid cleansing of wounds, the formation of granulation tissue, accelerates epithelialization from the edges of the wound and the timing of its healing. Studies show that sorption techniques should be an integral part of the complex treatment of patients with infl ammatory- destructive processes, are eff ective in the treatment of patients with infl ammatory- destructive processes of the peritoneal cavity, reduce the translocation and generalization of microorganisms and toxins, and reduce the manifestations of toxemia. Placing sorbents in an infected wound can accelerate its healing time.
