This article will examine how Light Fidelity (LiFi) is considered one of the technologies that have a transformative character in underwater communication. We delve into how LiFi can bring about a quasiphysical revolution in underwater data transmission by greatly improving the speed, dependability, and security of the transmission process. This paper focuses on the technical side of LiFi in water that leads to these improvements. These improvements are attributed to the fact that LiFi has a larger bandwidth capacity and hence it facilitates data transfer at a high speed; LiFi signal is not significantly interfered by water, thus give unreliable connections; already existing security feature due to the limited range of the light waves.Next, we dissect the far-reaching implications of these advances, and they range from the fields of medicine and finance up to communications and daily human activities. The modern era of diving uses this technology in more advanced way so that the real-time data can be transmitted from submersibles or autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) to the ground stations, therefore opening exciting new avenues of research.Water-based environmental surveillance can gain from LiFi's reliability, permitting observations on in situ performing sensory elements that are used in comparatively improved oceanic health surveys. Moreover, defence communications performed by the secured LiFi have great promise for the military purposes, where tactical processes are performed in the most convergent form due to the strong encryption and safety.Through assessment of LiFi main features and its influence on the water communication in the offshore structures and oil, gas in particular, this paper stands out LiFi as the bright future of underwater communication.
