The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a number of disruptions in social and economic life. The introduced restrictions on movement disturbed the fluctuation and efficiency of activities of all entities operating on the market. From day to day, enterprises were closed, and the time, forms and organization of work were changed for employees. Stationary work has been changed to remote work. The article aims to present the results of research on the opinions of employees in terms of preparing them to work in a new form. The research was empirical. The methods of literature studies, diagnostic survey and descriptive statistics were used. The obtained results should be approached critically, because in the opinion of employees, especially those micro and small enterprises, the main manifestation of employers' concern about equipping their home workstations was allowing employees to move computers to their homes. At the same time, nearly every fourth respondent stated that the employer was not interested in the quality of the IT equipment owned by their employee. Nearly every third surveyed employee stated that in their organizations their competences in the field of operating equipment and specialized IT programs facilitating remote work were not strengthened. The conducted research and the content of the article have a theoretical and application value. From the theoretical point of view, they enrich the existing literature on the subject, while the application character manifests itself in showing the management of organizations the expectations of employees. Satisfying these expectations will affect the efficiency of individual work and the entire organization.
