The tasks of finding ways to optimal economic development were and are the main ones in systemic economic research, and from the point of view of its significant disproportions, concepts related to regional development play a special role in these searches, primarily attempts to determine its mechanism, conditions and factors that shape this process. Spatial differentiation of development becomes the main problem of the modern economy, and the equalization of its regional disparities is the main goal of systematic research carried out within the framework of regional policy. And this is not only about stimulating the development of regions. However, unfortunately, the actions carried out in this direction do not always bring the desired result, and this is confirmed in unstable processes of convergence (convergence) and differences (divergence) of the regional product per person - precisely such difficulties are an extremely important factor mobilised science to further search for new paradigms of regional development, which significantly actualises systemic research in this direction, which is important for every region.
