This study presents the design and analysis of a F Shaped Planar Inverted Antenna with diverse slots suited for high-gain applications at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. This antenna can be used in Wi-Fi and WiMAX applications. Various slots, like the H slot, the L slot, and the crossed slot, are designed. In this design, an FR4 substrate of 1.5mm thickness is present, and an air gap of 5mm is present between the ground and radiating patch. Various slots on the radiating patch are constructed, simulated, and compared using CST Studio Suite. A gain of 5.627 dB is achieved by implementing the H slot, 5.83 dB for the crossed slot, and 6.913 dB for the L slot. Among these, the L slot has been most successful in terms of achieving high gain.
