Figure S1 from Genetic Silencing of AKT Induces Melanoma Cell Death via mTOR Suppression

Supplementary Figure S1 shows that pharmacological inhibition of AKT has little effect on melanoma cells. Cell confluency assay under pharmacological inhibition. A375, HT144, SK-MEL28, WM793, MTG001, and MTG004 cells were largely resistant to AKT inhibitors MK2206 (2.5 µM) and GDC0068 (1µM) while A375, HT144, WM793, SK-MEL 28 and MTG001 cells were largely sensitive to PI3Kα inhibition by GDC0941 (1µM) (P < 0.001).
