Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) represent a category of integrated circuits and also semiconductor devices like these offer a wide range of functionalities. They are aptly named as "field programmable" because they can be configured and reprogrammed after manufacturing also. This adaptability, flexibility and configurability have bought a significant transformation in digital circuits. One of the central features of FPGA is Configurable Logic Block (CLBs), which resembles a matrix interconnected through programmable links. Another crucial component is the SRAM, which can be reprogrammed to accommodate design changes or new implementations. Our primary focus lies on CLBs, where we delve into the impact of different multiplexer topologies within Look Up Table (LUTs). Our objective is to pinpoint the most efficient circuit topology that strikes a balance between power consumption and minimal delay. This investigation covers both the intricate details of circuit-level analysis and the broader implications for FPGA performance. The proposed design strategies and implantation is done in Synopsys tool using 32 nanometer technology. There has been a reduction in both power and delay.
