Background: The extrafine single-inhaler triple therapy (efSITT) consisting of beclomethasone dipropionate/formoterol fumarate/glycopyrronium bromide (BDP/FF/G) is available in two dose strengths, differing in a medium (MS, 87/5/9 μg) and high (HS, 172/5/9 μg) BDP concentration. The TriMaximize study was designed to gain insights into treatment pathways in patients with moderate to severe asthma who have switched to efSITT. Our analysis at hand aims to provide real world evidence of the effect of medium and high strength efSITT in asthma patients on disease control, health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and lung function.
