The main goal of the study is to analyze the cognitive factors that influence the strategic decisions of senior managers. These factors are identified in the literature as cognitive heuristics and biases and limit the rationality of decision-makers' strategic decisions.Decision-makers cannot make a rational decision due to limited information processing. In these circumstances, decisionmakers tend to use established biases such as cognitive heuristics and simplifying factors to simplify the decision situation. The purpose of the study is to understand the influence of cognitive factors on strategic decisions, as well as whether they influence strategic decisions.
