Service-oriented model user accounting systems of VNLU

The object of the research is the user registration system of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. The subject of the study is the library electronic database of the "Readers of the NLUV" baths. The purpose of the research is to build a service-oriented model of the system of accounting for users of the modern library and information complex using the example of the NLUV Readers database. The methodological basis of the research is systemic, informational, structural-functional, comparative, historical, and terminological approaches. The relevance of the study is due to the need to make fundamental changes and apply new approaches to the system of accounting for scientific library users, to optimize the forms and methods of library statistics, to develop methodological recommendations for the protection and preservation of personal data. Scientific novelty. The scientific and practical experience of researching the modern accounting system of library users and building a corresponding service-oriented model significantly expands the information field of librarianship. Practical significance and prospects. The results of the study outline ways to improve the system of statistical accounting of readers, initiate the development of a further strategy of the scientific library regarding the formation and use of statistical information on the composition and accounting of the active readership.
