Abstract

Introduction Anemia presents a significant challenge in gastrointestinal cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, adversely affecting qualityof life and treatment continuity. Conventional treatments such as red bloodcell transfusions, erythropoiesis-stimulating agents, and oral iron have limitations, including thrombosis risk, supply constraints,and poor tolerability.
