The Use of Authentic Materials in Teaching the Korean Language (On the Example of Infographics)

In the modern world, a student desire not only to learn a language but to use it is becoming more popular. This article discusses the use of infographics in the course of Korean language classes. The characteristic of didactic means is considered. The article is focused on the consideration of authentic material and the phenomenon of infographics as a type of didactic material. There are proposed criteria for the selection of authentic materials and infographics. Examples of tasks based on the use of infographics are given, and the result of the exercises is expected to increase the level of students’ motivation.
