Preprint submitted to Communications in Mathematical Physics. This manuscript presents a conditional, entropy-governed model-ansatz framework toward the Yang–Mills existence and mass-gap problem. It defines a gauge-invariant entropy contribution in finite volume, develops first-variation identities, and reports benchmark comparisons to published lattice and phenomenological ranges.Scope note: no complete proof of the four-dimensional Yang–Mills mass-gap theorem is claimed; no lattice-QCD simulations are performed in this work; computational checks are reproducibility/consistency aids and not proof. Included artifacts: manuscript PDF/TeX/Bib, supplementary PDF/TeX, supplementary testing report, and a zipped formula-check reproducibility package
