Abstract

In this study, research on solar-energy-utilizing heating, cooling, ventilation, and water heating systems for detached houses was conducted to verify its effectiveness in reducing annual system power consumption and improving system efficiency. Based on experiments, the amount of electricity consumption by the fan and the airflow characteristics due to the loss of air pressure of each component were determined. The simulation method was developed to replicate the behavior of the system in summer and winter.
