The article discusses institutional innovations related to amendments to the Federal Law "On Organized Auctions" and proposals from the Federal Anti-monopoly Service (FAS) of Russia to extend the experiment on setting price agreements between government authorities and business entities. The positive and negative features of these innovations are noted. Practical examples of regulating trade activities are given, for example, the introduction of re-strictions on the size of trade margins on food products and other measures aimed at supporting producers of agri-food products.
