Exploration reveals effective pathways for integrating ideological education in university opera music curricula, suggesting improved student outcomes.
With the continuous development of education in the new era, integrating ideological and political education into curricula has become a crucial approach for universities to fulfill their fundamental mission of cultivating virtue and nurturing talents. As an essential component of China's outstanding traditional culture, opera music contains abundant ideological and political education resources. Incorporating this educational philosophy into opera music instruction not only enhances students' professional competence but also guides them in establishing correct worldviews, life perspectives, and values. This paper begins by exploring the ideological and political elements inherent in opera music courses, conducting an in-depth analysis of the ideological connotations embedded in opera singing styles and accompaniment techniques. Based on the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) philosophy, it examines practical implementation pathways for ideological and political education through four dimensions: teaching objectives, instructional content, implementation strategies, and evaluation systems. The study aims to provide a reference framework for developing ideological and political education in university opera music programs.
