Does early cryoablation reduce recurrence rates in children and adolescents with AVNRT?
Performing cryoablation for AVNRT at a younger age in children and adolescents is associated with lower recurrence rates and an excellent safety profile.
Our findings show that cryoablation had no complications and a very good success rate. Type of cryolesion is not predictive of long-term success, whereas lower recurrence rate is achieved when cryoablation is performed at a younger age.
